I gave up having the sEestar find the sun. It always took too long and it wsa frustrating watching it initially go almost always right to the sun, and then backup to the east and slowly make its way back sometimes finding the sun, sometimes not.
I ended up gettting a solar finder via Etxy and finding the sun on mostly manually. I don't even bother with compass calibration or precise leveling. I just tell the Seestar to go to the Sun (skipping calibraiton, etc). and then canceling it when it gets close, then using the solar finder to manully get the sun near the center. Once it's onscreen, just touch the icon to keep it centered and you're good to go.
