Add 4K always on setting

Please add an advanced setting to always use the 4K mode when appropriate. Right now you have to remember to turn it on every time you go into the stargazing mode. Better to make it a setting if you always want to to use it.

Since this is a software feature that consumes a lot of device performance, we don't have a default setting to prevent users from forgetting to turn it off and causing high energy consumption. However, I will also feedback your needs.

I would recommend that you save the 4k configuration instead of always activating it, just as some users prefer to have it active, others prefer to have it deactivated, and the same would happen to other users who do not want to have it active, we would have to remember to deactivate it every time we start the capture.

Yes but you could say that about other settings like the dew heater. You could make it a setting like the dew heater that you have to turn on whenever the Seestar powers up so it’s on just for that one session. But at least it’s a choice you make every time it turns on like the dew heater setting.

Balrog This suggestion has been rejected for the time being. Since 4K will cause the machine to consume high energy, which may cause the device temperature to rise and affect normal use, we do not support its continuous use.

Of course not, after enabling 4K mode, the heat generated by the mainboard will not affect the final imaging result and is within the normal range, so you can use it with confidence.
