Hello ZWO, I have many EAF and this vibration is not with 1 EAF but many units, mostly in Fast mode is a stronger vibrations, but in Slow sill causes vibrations, with using ZWO couplers are straight and while EAF motor turning can feel the unit causing the vibrations. So the coupler is not the issue, I think the stepper motor is whats causing motors vibration to the coupler than to the focusers shaft and then vibration is being transferred causing blurry viewing through the scope at high power I can easy see blurry image. I am focusing across the street, or the Sun with Sun spots, or the Moons surface.
So I am clear this is not atmosphere turbulence, as when I stop pressing the ZWO remote button it stops.
I read somewhere ZWO has Firmware update that reduces this? So we understand at a lower power scope you can't see it, but the ZWO bracket is secure and tight.
If someone says well you don't focus during imaging true, but to get focus you do need to focus before imaging.
I am not 100% sure the New EAF-N and Pro will have much less vibration, maybe different motor or newer firmware?
Any suggestions, I have used rubber small o rings and some help, but the motor is the cause I feel and since the motor due to the stepper motor pulses are the cause? Would explain when in Slow is a bit less vibration..
