Plans deleted by update v2.6.1

All my plans were deleted during either app update or firmware update and now the app requires me to login to the seestar servers to do anything with plans?

What gives here? Does this mean an internet connection is required to use or create plans now?

Dadgummit. My SeeStar name has also been changed to this convoluted random mix of characters to match the forum name which is so archaic that changes are not allowed.

I’ll report the issue about not being able to change your forum name. What would you like the name to be? I can help you update it directly.
Regarding your data being cleared, this update didn’t make any changes to that part; it was a very minor update. Besides your plan list, was any other content also cleared?

I can confirm that all data is still available after update 2.6.1, plan in the Seestar, plan in the app, custom objects .. everything is still there.

Thank you for the reply. Please change P1x26Yb4 to KatNRick This is the first forum that locks moderation so tight and also does not allow users to change or even initially input a username.

I can confirm that zero, nada of my pre-existing plans exist on my tablet following the update from v2.6.0 to v2.6.1. I create all of my plans via tablet when the S30 is OFF and none were present when I went peeking around for changes. None were present when I turned the S30 on either.

I can confirm that the forced login and agreement to ToS were required to be able to create replacement plans. That also changed the name used on watermarks from KatNRick to P1x26Yb4 in the Android app but was able to change it back.

I'm not sure what you're saying because as far as I know, we haven't made any changes in this area.
Maybe you can send us the email address and delete it immediately, and I will help you check the problem from the system.

Also, since v2.6.0 to v2.6.1, my street address no longer shows as my location. Lat/Long now show.

V2.6.0 and earlier showed either my address or the address of my neighbors that could be reloaded a few times to show my address. Not saying this is a bad thing but a noticeable difference.

Perhaps in a format such as TOML or YAML.
