In the S50 EQ mode setup / get polar deviation — what does the prompt ‘select scope point’ mean?

The middle is zenith.
2-1 are closer to the south horizon, 4-5 to the north. In case you have obstructions directly overhead.

mannix It means where the scope is going to point to obtain a picture of the starfield and then compare to an internal map (plate solving). It can then make a determination how far off from valid polar alignment and provide information on how to adjust the scope. In the first iteration the only choice was straight up (zenith). However, several folks reported that there was an immovable obstruction when pointed that way...so EQ mode would not work for them. Subsequent implentations added the ability for the scope to be pointed in alternate directions to avoid obstructions...

Can someone tell me how to switch this feature on again? Last time I closed the "select scope point" window with the X at the top right and now it does not appear when go through the EQ mode setup. It automatically uses the zenith, I cannot choose.
