You can run it 5Ghz in station mode. But actually doesn't help much because the WIFI chip in the camera is still terrible. Below is my ASI2600MC Air connection with an unobstructed Wireless 5Ghz access point literally 12 ft away.
-70dBm is ridiculous in this scenario, my mini pc is on the same connection and gets almost perfect WIFI -45dBm signal from the same AP at the same distance.
Given that Zwo provides no local access to the cameras on the Airs, this is really bad news for imaging with those cameras.
