Lost two nights to troubleshooting a polar alignment using my Celestron AVX (It wasn't reading any rotation.)
Followed the instructions to downgrade to an earlier release (2.3.11,) by:
- Uninstalling ASIAir from my tablet.
- Flashing a fresh 64GB micro-SD card
- Installing the ASIAir app v2.3.11 using an APK from CloudyNights on my tablet and turning off automatic updates.
- connecting to the ASIAir and reactivating.
- updating the firmware fom v4.x to v11.x (I don't remember the exact numbers.
Now it doesn't see my mount at ALL. It saus it can't find any USP serial devices.
I KNOW the connection is working since I can see and control the mount from my laptop. The problem is either the firmware is screwed up to the point it can't see the mount's USB to serial hardware, or the USB ports in the device are fried, which I doube since it can still communicate with otrher devices plugged into those ports.
Can anyone help? I have an outreach program scheduled for Saturday evening, and if this isn't working, I'll have to cancel.
