I switch on 4k mode which should make the image I see on my tablet look better. however it looks worse. As an example I shot the Orion nebula a very bright object. If I shoot it without 4K I can see the image very prominent and vibrant after only 10 10 second subs on my screen as it live stacks. I stop the process switch on 4k mode and it takes more than 20 10 second subs just to show a faint image and we'll over 100 10 sec subs to equal what I see on the screen in just 10 subs without 4k.
The other issue is sub duration, I'm a machinist by trade so precision is in my blood. I perfectly level my tripod then get the seestar S50 into EQ mode follow the process get it polar aligned to perfect zeros. I cant get any better than 10 second subs no matter where I point it in the sky. N S E W directly overhead it doesn't matter. I've even tried refreshing and readjusting several times on the polar alignment.
