Would love the ability under advanced features for the option to manually shoot master dark files. Dark images are used to subtract out sensor noise. Sensor noise is affected by temperature. If you start shooting at 8pm til 6am, ambient temperature can change by 20°F or more. Darks taken at the beginning of a session are not useful mid or end session. Darks are usually averaged over the session to produced a master dark. Not just the beginning.
If using a plan, the Seestar could be programmed to take darks at intervals over the plan length. If imaging without a plan, maybe an option for the user to command a new set of darks.
This should improve noise reduction even more.
