Hello,
I've been using my AM3 over USB for a year now, but I wanted to get rid of some cables, so I decided to use it over bluetooth. I'm on Windows, I installed the ASCOM Platform 7, the latest ZWO Drivers for the mount (6.5.23), and I have the latest firmware (1.7.3). Everything connects well, and I can connect it to NINA. From NINA, I can use the N / S / W / E buttons and it works as well as the Home button. However, when I try to slew anywhere, nothing happens.
I looked at the logs and I noticed that, as opposed to USB, when it connects over bluetooth it doesn't sync the time. I later realized that when I try to slew on NINA and look at the ASIMount software, it says: Error: No synchronization local time and location.
I tried to go in the Advanced settings of ASIMount and perform a manual sync, but it doesn't change anything. I went to NINA and force the sync in the options of the mount, but still nothing. Then I tried to connect to the ASCOM Device Hub first, hoping it would sync, but still nothing.
How is it possible that it never sync when connected over bluetooth ?
The only way I can operate it, is by first connecting through USB (to sync it), then reconnect over bluetooth, but that defeats the purpose if I need to have the USB cable with me everytime.
Is there any way to fix this ?
Thank you.
