In the past I downloaded my seestar fits files via wireless connection to my pc. (Saved haveing to use USB and my portable PC). Since windows 2H2 update Win 11 will not connect to seestar S50 (I am on 5G). I have gone through loads of checks and it is related to this version of Win 11. If I use Linux via a inhouse server there is no issue and I can down load the files this way but my server is slow and its not as neat. I have also been informed that Seestars network access is not truly SMB.
Discovery is open. I can see the SSID for seestar. I have tried \seestar and the IP address. I've checked policy definitions. Do you have any idea what the problem is. As I mention linux download is no problem. I even tried a linux program on my PC which I could activate and that worked . But not win11 file manager.

At present, there are two possible solutions to this issue:
If you have a background in development or coding.

Run a PowerShell command
Open PowerShell as Administrator.
Execute the following command:
Set-SmbClientConfiguration -RequireSecuritySignature $false
The reason for this limitation is that Windows 11 24H2 Home Edition enforces account and password authentication for network sharing (these credentials are not set by us). Therefore, in this environment, the drive can only be accessed via a direct USB connection.
