ASI Mount Hand Controller with ASIAIR and other brand mount?

I just want a physical directional controller for use with my ASIAIR I'm using to control a non ZWO telescope mount?! I see the ASI Mount Hand Controller that seems to be made for controlling ZWO mounts directly?

Any chance that can be paired with and add physical directional controls to the ASIAIR unit?? Or are there any USB joysticks that can be plugged into a USB port on the ASIAIR for physical direction inputs?

I just want to move my telescope without removing my eye from the eyepiece and having to look at my phone/the ASIAIR app?! The hand controller for my iOptron HAE mount is quite expensive at $285! But that may be my only option??
