Many dso are very small compared to the sensor area (M51). SO i looked for an option to give the s50 a greater focal length. Finally I found an article describing the usage of an olympus tcon17x converter with the s50. I tried it by my self and found it not working. Is there an explanation that it does sometimes work and sometimes not? Or is there an option surely working? Thanx Lutz
Currently, our optical design is catadioptric (similar to Newtonian telescopes).It is theoretically feasible, but we have not actually tested it. Different products have varying optical path designs, so we cannot confirm compatibility
