One of the great things about the pure ZWO hardware and software setup is how it just works so reliably most of the time. ALMOST set and forget! However I get can get what may be, or looks like, progressive dithering drift issues over a sequence and some ZWO rotator issues which could be physical in origin, so it would nice to have the option to re-centre on the object every so often. My AM5 is typically polar aligned to less than 10 arcseconds and guiding is very good. If not detected visually and the sequence aborted and restarted manually, which fixes it, but takes a while with the forced refocus and guider calibration, I have had to do a lot of cropping or otherwise reject otherwise good frames.
At any point in a plan would be very nice or after n of x number of frames.
The amount of variance in rotation or offset detected could be user controlled and optionally trigger a useful alarm that the plan has issues and requires intervention or abort the sequence automatically.
