Improving the WIIFI connectivity in the ASI2600MC Air and MM Air

I own these cameras and I have been trying to improve WIFI connectivity, because the only way to use these cameras is via WIFI.

In experimenting with both cameras I have come to the conclusion that there is something wrong in the software and/or hardware on the cameras that is underpowering the WIFI chip.

To demonstrate, my ASI2600MC camera is connected using a quality 12V 6amp power supply, with a 5Ghz AP literally 12 ft away and this is the connection on the camera:

From that distance you would expect much more than -70dBm, and I think that this is impacting my download speeds.

Can anyone help?

If you want a more stable and more fast WiFi connection, you can use the station mode to connect the WiFi and the device (it's best not to have too many nearby devices, as they may cause interference). Here is the tutorial video on how to operate in station mode：https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=MDUDetuNXYQ.Under normal circumstances with minimal signal interference, the Wi-Fi strength should be sufficient. Alternatively, you can purchase a Wi-Fi signal booster to enhance the signal strength.
