AM5 mount not powering up

I purchased my AM5 mount a few months ago. Often when I press the power button, I get the normal beep followed immediately by a rather loud click from inside. The power light is on but nothing works. When I hit the power button again I get a similar click and the lights go out. Any Ideas?

This sounds like a normal power up and power down process to me. The loud click is the RA-break that releases when powered up and closes when powered down/power loss.

May I ask what power source you are using to supply the AM5? Does this happen every time you power it on?
Could you also share a photo or video of the issue?
