For quite some time now, the Seestar S50 has been losing connection and having to reconnect. This is causing some inconvenience. Today, while collecting footage, it first lost connection, then I reconnected it, but not on the first try. It worked for another 10 minutes and then simply turned off, folding its arm back into its original position. 38 minutes of collected data were simply erased and, naturally, cannot be recovered. I tried reconnecting it and everything worked fine. It's kind of a shame.

f658DtOn What's your software version and firmware version? Are you used S50 or S30?Additionally, is there any signal interference in your surroundings? Are you using direct connection mode or station mode?

Tech@ZWO I was right next to the telescope, the signal was normal, but it somehow worked for 3.5 hours, and then just turned off.

Why just only can use 5G?Seestar provide 2.4g And 5g.Are there any other signals causing interference nearby?

Lost connection here last night. After starting session, Bluetooth connection request. Station mode wifi stopped. Connection direct via SS direct wifi stopped.

CANNOT SUBMIT BUG/LOG report IF THERE IS NO CONNECTION TO THE SEESTAR. That seems a bit bad logic so that a person cannot submit a bug/problem.

Why, oh why, would something work easy peasy for months, then decide to just STOP.

Why, oh why, is a USB-c to USB-c hardware connection between the SeeStar and Controlling device (Android tablet in my case) not provisioned in the software for cases when the SeeStar bluetooth and wifi Radios decide to take a dump?

Wifi Station mode stopped working (communicating) shortly after initiating the plan for the night.
SeeStar wifi (s30_myserialnumber) stopped communicating
Bluetooth would not connect.

Symptoms indicated all radios within the SeeStar were turned OFF. No log can be transmitted because connection is required to be able to transmit a report and/or log. Log cannot be downloaded for transmission later.

The plan completed overnight and hardwire connection was possible the next morning to transfer all files just in case all got lost in setup.

Next day, long reset press to get bluetooth connection and seestar wifi connection. Station mode was disabled. Setup Station mode from scratch. Communication by all methods has been restored.

Range / distance seems reduced now since a seestar outdoor placement and controlling device location are the same as they have been since March but connection between seestar and tablet is no longer reliable for more than a few minutes at a time.

Are you currently unable to use station mode and bluetooth? Are you using a 2.4GHz connection or a 5GHz connection? The 5GHz mode offers faster transmission speeds but lacks the interference resistance of 2.4GHz. Additionally, are there any interfering signals in your vicinity?Additionaly you can report bug in App we will analyze reasons:https://h5.seestar.com/course/79221. AND ?? Not sure what you mean. I thought BT was only used to originate the initial wifi connection
Are you using a 2.4GHz connection or a 5GHz connection?
Station mode is setup using the credentials for my router 2.4GHZ wifi. My tablet wifi connection doesn't matter. I can use 2.4ghz or 5.0ghz router connection to my Android tablet OR even the 2.4ghz or 5.0ghz connection from my secondary router.
Additionaly you can report bug in App we will analyze reasons
NO cannot report 'in-app' IF there is no connection to the seestar

This setup has been in place and used on every clear night since March without any hiccup. I don't think setup has anything to do with seestar radios disabling themselves. I live in a rural location so there is no wifi signals stronger than those at my house.

Email server might be setup to block certain geographical locations and certain languages due to significant security and spam reasons. Which email address is being used? Only the prefix before the @ sign is needed since I know the domain. I will check with the email server admin once I know the specific account.

So you mean that you can connect camera by router 2.4G or 5G Wifi?if you can do that had better to "report bug".Once you sumbit report we can analyze reasons,otherwise we can't do it.If you can't connect Seestar by any wifi,you can by bluetooth report bug

I was told by seestar support all logs are lost/reset after power down so I do not understand how a log from days ago after several cycles will tell anything.
