The Seestar Community thanks you for adding Alpaca support to the Seestar which allows us to use a variety of applications to control our Seestars. A lot of these applications are very complex, however.
It would be a very good idea for you to integrate Alpaca into your ASIAir app, which would then allow Seestar users to enjoy the wide range of features that the app allows and also would keep them in the ZWO walled garden of products.
The ASIAir app is slightly more advanced than the current Seestar App, but will then prepare a subset of Seestar users to feel confident enough to upgrade their viewing equipment and carry on using the ASIAir app.
This is a win win situation for ZWO, it keeps your customers in your walled garden, it prepares them for their next stage of their imaging journey and allows the rich feature set of the ASIAir app to showcase the Seestar product by allowing users who wish to make the most of the app features to produce excellent and next level images.
Please consider this as a feature request or just an idea to table with the development team. It would send the Seestar to the next level.
If this is not possible, then we desperately need the dithering process in the Alpaca to be enabled to use it with existing Astro imaging applications.
