Of course, the one night i don't check the weather for the 10th time of a night before i start imaging, i get rained on overnight.
I woke up and saw my mount not in it's home position, and I immediately knew something was wrong. Walked outside, thought it was dew everywhere, but it was rain, meaning my rig was rained on.
I take the rig inside and the ASIAIR mini seems to be the culprit right now as it will not power on. I tried the usb C port i use to transfer photos, and that gives it power often. It powered on, beeped once like normal, then shut down and won't come back up. I tried the power cable itself, a couple different ones, and nothing. Sometimes it will power on, beep, but power back off immediately or reboot and try again. Other times, nothing.
At that point i googled and they all say to stop trying to power on, so I'm stopping.
but, what do i do now? Just wait a couple days? I'm using the asiair mini, i have the lid off, i don't' see nay water anywhere, don't feel water anywhere, it seems to be dry inside.
during my testing of power, if i let it sit for a few minutes and try again, then I'll get the beep the shut down. if i try immediately again, it does nothing.
So, what are my options? let it continue to dry and hope? Any way i could get the data off the unit if it is done for from last night?
