Framing wasting time

What you see is a raw image resulting from processing a bunch of shots of M31 in 2x framing, no rotation. Many subs appear to have been devoted to image off the limits. Is this meaning that after a 2 hour session, just a fraction of the subs actually fall into the designated field? Many thanks for your thoughts,

This is because the mosaic hasn’t been completed yet, so some areas are not showing up in the current image. Once the mosaic is finished, you should be able to see all the regions. Alternatively, you can also check the position of the target frame during your composition to make sure everything is covered.

Oh, now I think that a rotation was actually ordered to show both M31in full and M110 in the same frame, so your explanation is perfectly fit. Thank you! Now, would it be possible for a future upgrade to show the level of completion of mosaics? Something like % somewhere next to total exposure time? I do not know how to be sure my mosaic is complete by now.
