Latest app - Android OS memory requirements

Many users are posting on the SS official FB page, that the latest app will not start up if they have an Android tablet with 2G RAM. ZWO has stated previously that 4GB or more is required.

What is your official position on this, and is there a workaround?

For Android devices, we officially recommend Android 9 or above and at least 6GB of RAM. This is to ensure the app runs smoothly and avoids issues caused by older devices or insufficient system resources.
If your device does not have many other apps running and has enough available RAM to run Seestar, it may still work even if it does not fully meet these specifications. Please note that this recommendation is meant to provide the best user experience, but it is not a strict requirement.
