ASIAir 2.4.4 causing lots of problems

On two setups using ASIAir plus and the 2.4.4 release, I am seeing major problems with communication to the main cameras. One is an ASI6200mm and the other the ASI2600mm p25 (the new one).

This release is costing me entire nights of shooting. How did this buggy software get released? Is there some way to back out of it on the ASIAirs and my iPads? I've heard from at least two other people having these issues.

You can try to downgrade:

Just remember to turn of app auto update.
While you can do this for the ASIAIR App on Android via the Play Store App, for iOS/iPadOS you can only do this for all Apps (which is an Apple restriction).

There is no way to downgrade the iOS app.

Okay, found iMazing, etc. and downgraded to 2.4.2.
