So with the ASIAIR, I have my stability setting set to 2" for 5s before autorun starts its thing. For some reason midway through the night, it stopped.
In my log file from last night, it says that after auto focus succeeded at 2:44am, it started guiding at 2:46am, but no images were taken until I woke up at around 4:40am, where I took my calibration frames. It seems that the Settle Done message didn't appear unlike in previous auto focus attempts.
I looked at my guide graph when I woke up and saw the RA line doing its thing, but there was no total RMS value being displayed because there was also no DEC line in the graph, even though I checked and saw that M42 was centered in my FOV. So the autorun couldn't continue as there was no value to take from to check if guiding was stable.
Why might this be the case? There have been similar occurrences like this before, but I've been awake to fix this right away by realigning the target. Do I need to change my timeout setting, or is this a software-specific issue that I'm facing?
