On my S30, I was able to see that I'm on v. 5.97, but I didn't immediately shut down manually before going to stargazing mode, and I saw no live image (said loading with the Seestar logo). After shutting down with the in-app slider, then opening up again, same thing. Then, I shut down with the physical power button and restarted with the power button, same issue. I then deleted the Seestar app and downloaded a fresh copy, but now I can't get Wi-Fi to connect. I had been using station mode previously, connected to my home Wi-Fi. Now, when I connect, the Bluetooth works, but the S30 won't broadcast a Wi-Fi for me to select in WLAN settings. Everything was working before, now I can't connect.
