pub2net The problem is that when I use the Asiair mini or ASI Studio, I don't get any image from the camera.
You do realise you won't see anything until you tap the button to taken an exposure, right?
If you want to just continually see something without taking an exposure you have to go in to Video Mode on the ASIAIR.
Just to confirm - when you are using ASI Studio
- Are you plugging the cameras directly into your computer's USB 3 speed (which either be a USB A or USB C physical port depending on your laptop and speed at which the port is rated) port? If not - this is what you should be doing when testing with ASI Studio.
- Are you powering the ASI533MC Pro with its own power supply?
- Have you turned them ON in the ASI Studio software itself?
- Have you set the Gain and EXP appropriately for both cameras?
- Have you tested during daylight hours?
When you are using the ASIAIR Mini with the ASIAIR App (note: you can't use the ASIAIR Mini with the ASI Studio software on your computer):
- What version the app-firmware are you running on the ASIAIR (don't say "latest" say the actual version number)?
- What device are you using to run the ASIAIR App (Apple/Android)?
- How are you powering the ASI533MC Pro?
- If you're powering the ASI533MC Pro from the power output of the ASIAIR Mini - nn the ASIAIR App - have you gone to the ASIAIR Settings screen and made sure the power output is actuall on for the power outlet it is connected to?
- In the ASIAIR Main Camera Settings screen - have you checked that it is turn on there AND the Gain is set correctly (you can see from the graphs for the product page of the camera that gain should be set to at least 100 - https://www.zwoastro.com/product/asi533-pro-series/)?
- Once you've done the above - have you gone into Preview Mode, made sure you set the EXP correctly (say 1-2 seconds), then tapped the button to take an exposure?
- Have you tested during daylight hours?
