ASI mount ASCOM driver bug????

trying to control my AM5 via NINA. have downloaded all recent software and drivers. updated mount firmware as well.
problem- ASI ASCOM driver will not show local coordinate, and will not accept manual entry in any possible format. was advised to adjust Locale and adjust "." and "," where required under extra settings.
nothing works.
tried to get NINA to sync coordinates to mount- it will only accept altitude
every research ends up with a "known bug in ASI ASCOM" ??????????

It looks like the error is caused by a missing or incompatible Microsoft .NET Framework on your PC. Please download and install the latest version from https://dotnet.microsoft.com/download/dotnet-framework
, then restart your computer and try running the ASI Mount software again.
Alternatively, you can reinstall the system.

Support@Seestar i have win 11 that was just updated. the link you sent has the lates framework version form 2022. can it be that i still have an old version?

Support@Seestar the fact is that everything was working fine before this update. I can't believe it is a .net problem. My PC is up to date, so I guess it is the wrong way. Could be a country parameter, like using , instead of . ???

Did you ever connect your AM5 via ASI Mount ASCOM to your PC before? How do you connect your mount with ASCOM? If it does not connect to your mount over the correct port of the USB-/WIFI or BT-Connection, it makes no sense to try it over NINA.

I am connecting my AM5N over USB connection to ASCOM on my PC running NINA with Win 11. I do not have any problems so far.

up until now i was using ASIair never needed to connect to pc
moving to nina as i am changing to touptek camera.

good to know that you have no issues and would be greatlyb appreciated if you can please post screenshots similar to the ones i uploaded so i can appreciate how it looks on a working machine

OK. Then you might have a general problem here, if ASCOM did not work for you until now.

It is an older screenshot of my ASCOM setup:

In this screenshot I deleted Altitude, Latitude und Longitude for obvious reasons.

But maybe again: How do you connect to your AM5? USB, WIFI, BT? What Settings do you use here:

You need to start and get the ASI Mount ASCOM Server App without NINA to connect to your mount, otherwise NINA is not able to use it to connect to your mount too.

I have found the solution : you have to update also ASCOM driver. You have now an unpack button which block every action before unpacking.

thanks i as said i have downloaded the recent ASCOM from ZWO site a few times now. i cannot see an unpack button anywhere. after download i have a usuel exe file to install then just follow instruction

probelm solved - all i needed to do was to connect the mount to a different USB on the mini PC. thanks everyone[upl-i
