About the ASI2600MM Pro "Image download" Driver Errror / idea to fix it

Hi all, I am really frustrated with my zwo asi2600mm p-25..........I doesn't stops download images after a few or stops on autofocus. I tried all option one can think of but still no success. I have also a asi2600mm pro which I had to send back cos of motherboard issues, they had to change the motherboard after 6 months or so. So I have asi2600mm p-25 and asi2600mm pro both brand new and both have download issues. I have been using my Sbig st10xme ccd for more than 20 years without a hitch. I still haven't found the solution........ I use SGP software. Hope anyone can help me here. Tnx in advance.

Same issue here, ASI2600 from 2022, worked fine till 6 monthd ago, then it started giving this driver issue always solved changinh to new USB cable or new power cable, now , it no lomnger works . Problem is constant, NINA doesnt work nor asistudio or sharpcap. reinstalled driver and ascom drivers, nothing. Have tried connecting it through hub, and direct to PC, tried direct power supply and power box. nothing works, need to be send in for service or to the dumspter?

### ASI2600MX This Fix Worked for Me

I've had similar, increasing, problems with image download failures involving a ASI2600MM Pro. Like many others I tried replacing USB cables and power supplies, as well as testing at a range of temperatures to try and isolate the problem. Finally in order to try and determine whether a hardware or 'driver' issue was the cause, I used CCDCiel on Win11, Mac Silicon and Raspberry Pi, running the same device profile on each. The difference being that ASCOM is used on the WinPC and INDI drivers on the Mac and the RPi. The result? The camera functioned flawlessly on both the Mac and RPi, indicating that the problem was not the camera hardware. To cut a lengthy story short, I noted that ASCOM (including the latest release 7.1.3) requires both .NET 3.5 and .NET 4.8 to be present. I found that Microsoft has deprecated 3.5 and this was turned off on both the NUC I use in the observatory and on a desktop in the office, presumably by updates. To reinstate this, go to the Start Menu and then 'Control Panel' on the left hand side, click on 'Turn off-on Windows Features'. This will bring up a dialog box with the .NET 3.5 and .NET 4.8 near the top. Expand the two fields and select all the boxes. My camera is once again working without any problem. I hope this is of help.

Also don't forget to check the USB device drivers under 'Device Manager' to ensure that power down under 'Power Management' has not been turned back on.
