Seestar S30 tracking issues above 55°.

Hello! After the new update, me and 2 other guys, as far as I'm aware, have been having huge issues tracking anything above the 55° line, resulting in trails (second img)
. The first image is what you'd get from literally any stacking time you try, yet everything below 55° works like a charm. (Third pic)
Does anyone know any way of fixing this? We're all cold shooters but we've shot in colder weather already, we also tried shooting in doors with some sort of heating source on it, still no fix. Calibration has been done, flats have been shot, the seestar has been fully reset, we've found no way of fixing this..

To add, the rejection rate is outrageously bad, almost 50% rejections on any target.

I can't tell from your posts, but have you tried Equatorial Mode? Looks like 10 second exposures....

marvindj I've been telling many people, this isn't an EQ issue. One of the other guys uses EQ and has the same problem. It went away yesterday and today for 4 hours but it just came back and now everything is bad as soon as it hits the 55° lat, it's not wind, it's not clouds, it has nothing to do with the weather. I used to get 10%< rejection rate before the update, and now I'm facing 50% all the time paired with tracking issues.

Same issue here !
Never had a Problem, shot thousands of Images.
Now things changed.
EQ Mode normally almost 100% success
Now: only 5 min within 1 hours in total only 10 s exp. !
Object near zenith
Checked Location, calibration, settings twice same issue !
Last Update was installed.
Bug in the Software or Faulty Hardware ???

what chance is that? i would say close to zero. there is too many seestars suddenly hard to use after last updates.

I'm almost certain it's a mechanical problem. I've observed this behavior, in equatorial configuration, from near the meridian westward; eastward the rejection rate is much lower. I believe it's related to the clearance in the vertical/polar axis.

I've found that when I load the east side of the S30 with 120 grams, the drag always "pushes," so the play in the mechanism doesn't become apparent. I'll test it as soon as the clouds clear.
