Station mode issues with MacOS

Has anyone successfully connected an S50 in station mode to the Seestar app 3.0.0 running on MacOS Sequoia 15.6.1? I realize the app is not verified with MacOS, which may be my issue but to be honest I have a Mac and a standard iPhone 15pro running 18.6.2 and I'd love to get this workin on a larger screen (with out purchasing an iPad) I've put the see star in station mode and am able to connect to the S50 from my phone but the Mac does not see the device. if I connect the Mac to the S50 wifi everything seems to work just fine.

This sounds similar to using ASIAir in recent versions of MacOS.

in the System Preferences:

select Privacy & Security,
add the SeeStar application,
set Allow to communicate with devices on your local network to ON.

By default, this is disabled in MacOS.

I use a Macbook (most recent MacOS and most recent Seestar App versions) with no problems, S30 and also S50.

However, there is a general peculiarity with MacOS: you have to grant each third-party app access to the local network once in the Control Panel.

Thanks Tom, I did confirm "local network" access was granted to the Seestar app, and rebooted just for kicks 🙂 . Still no love connecting in station mode, as soon as I connect the Mac to the SeeStar WiFi it connects right up & works flawlessly. I'll keep working on it, grabbing a packet capture while using both modes might shed some light. If I figure anything out I'll post here.

Confirming that this worked on my MBP and S30 -- you definitely have to change those settings, whose location may have changed recently:
System Preferences | Privacy & Security | Local Network. --> Add/enable the Seestar app.
