@ZWO,
- you have broken "sync to mount" for users with non-ZWO mounts - it attempts to force the coordinates for BEIJING into my mount, which is totally wrong. PA and GOTO are totally broken by this, and I have had to roll back to version 2.3.3 to use the scope.
In PA it attempts to slew to the NORTH pole (I am south) and crashed the scope into the mount.
Even if I skip PA, GOTOs try to point the scope into the ground.
- The app now demands a location to be set before it will "ENTER". This may be OK (a) with a ZWO mount and (b) on a device with an internet connection and GPS, but on devices without GPS and no Internet (eg iPad/Macbook) it makes ASIAIr 2.5 unusable in re mote locations.
You're forgetting again that in many dark sky locations its quite likely people do not have internet.
For a non-ZWO mount the app needs options to either:
(a) acquire the latitude and longitude from the MOUNT, as version 2.3 did,
or
(b) manually enter the site latitude and longitude.
Both options should be supported in the application.
