Two other issues.
- The settings for PA, platesolving with GOTO and autofocus need GAIN settings as well as exposure duration - it's really annoying to have to go into the camera settings every time alter the gain for these functions, then change it again for PREVIEW.
What's more during an AUTORUN or PLAN, if the rig does a meridian flip, plate-solve and refocus these occur with whatever gain was set during the AUTORUN or PLAN, so you can't change the gain manually. This is OK with a colour camera but for those doing mono with narrowband filters it's a royal pain - and it implies you should select the luminance filter before doing these things. Or do the flip manually.
- It appears the only way to get at MY FAVOURITES to add a custom target with RA and Dec is to wade through the PLAN dialogs, which is quite tedious. ASIAir really needs:
a. the ability to set a favorite or custom location directly in the atlas (ie in PREVIEW mode), and
b. the ability to select a target from the FAVOURITES catalog and do a GOTO in PREVIEW mode.
c. In PREVIEW mode, if a position is set by manually entering RA and DEC, it needs an option to save that in MY FAVOURITES so you can go back to it next time.
Attempting to rely on PLAN to do this is a fail.
