I have two questions about imaging the moon. First, I did a 60 second timelapse. When I stopped it I got the usual message that the video had been saved. When I went to the album to look at it later, it was only two seconds. I did three, different lengths, and all were two seconds.
Second, I don't understand why it has such trouble finding the moon. You can ask it to go to the most obscure objects and it is flawless, But it searches all over for the moon, fails, and asks you to do a compass alignment, or use the joystick. Which, as an aside, I don't know if it's my Galaxy pad, but the joystick is VERY frustrating. It ignores your movements 75% of the time. How can the alignment (I'm in equatorial mode) be close enough that every deep sky object, and all the planets are no problem, but the moon is hopeless? I've found a workaround to use Starry Night to advance the time a bit so I can see what's behind the moon, and tell it to go there. That works. Which only makes it more mysterious why it can't find the moon.
Thanks in advance.
