Question - Limit on the Number of Plans Created

I’m entering a list of objects that I’ll be capturing for each right ascension coordinate, for each month of the year, already including the number of frames and position I need, along with mosaics when necessary. I kept adding them until I ran into a message saying that the limit on the number of Plans is 52.

Is this a hard limit? Is there any way I can add more?
My hardware is an ASIAIR Mini.

Good Lord... what a brave idea. My list would be several hundreds of targets.

I dont use PLAN. I have four AUTORUN configurations set - two for bright or dim targets set to a crazy number of subs (like 200, effectively unlimited), and two for the flats to match (40 subs each).

I select a target from a list in my iPhone and run the matching AUTORUN. That way I dont need to configure ASIAir each time.

Hi Luxo, I hope you're well. My goal is to maintain the framing of the saved objects, as several objects from ZWO are poorly framed. I've considered using custom objects, but that's more work. I'm going to create a list with some plans, export the positions, and save them in a spreadsheet on my phone. Thank you for your reply.

Agreed re the positioning of many targets is a bit off in the star catalog - I've found that to be an issue with most of the stuff I shoot to the point I manually frame every target and I only start AUTORUn once 'm happy and guiding is good.

I've already made the suggestion that we really need a way to copy and paste a table using a delimited text format from a spreadsheet - adding objects one by one is painful. It also implies a way to delete many at a time, or even all of the custom objects.

And to do it in PREVIEW or the Star Atlas - having to go into PLAN to do this was very poorly thought out.

If ZWO have got the software quality (ie bugs) under control they might just begin to think about requests.

I thought of a more efficient way. I need to keep a list of objects for each AR, divided into objects I need to photograph without the moon (CLS and UHC filters), and objects I photograph with the moon (L-Enhanced, L-Extreme, and H-Alpha filters). Adding both together, I end up with 48 Plans, leaving me with 4 more to add whatever I need.
