My ZWO cameras DO NOT WORK since recent Windows Update

My first post and unfortunately it is a result that none of my 4 ZWO cameras (533, 432, 290) will work with the latest windows updates.
The message on my laptop reads: "This driver has been blocked - ASICAMUSB.sys does not pass the Windows driver policy". I have now read multiple ZWO user posts noting they are also having the same issues with a range of ZWO cameras. There are workarounds using Powershell and bcedit... but that passes the issue onto US to resolve. My questions are how ZWO let this happen, what are you doing about it right now to fix this. When will there be a software update. Why should I have to enter Powershell to fix this issue, it is on you ZWO to fix the issue... Please respond ASAP.

I see this issue has already been raised 5 days ago and I see no ZWO response...?????

Thank you Mei. I can confirm that THIS WORKS (for me)
Turn off BitLocker
Turn off internet connection
Reboot and enter BIOS. Disable Secure Boot, save and exit.
Open Command Prompt as Administrator, run:
bcdedit /set testsigning on
bcdedit /set hypervisorlaunchtype off
Restart your PC, reinstall the ZWO driver, then connect your camera

Unfortunately for me being a non computer geek. That seems a bit involved. Not sure I want to try that.

Apparently there is an update driver out as of today, 5/27/26, but. I have not been able to find it.

Open the official ZWO site (should be where you are now),
Click on SOFTWARE
Click on WINDOWS (or MAC)
Click on DESKTOP APP
Click on CAMERA DRIVER
You will see ZWO_ASI_camera_driver_3.27.0 (IMPORTANT NOTE: this is actually the new 3.28.0 camera driver just nobody has bothered to change the name).
Click on that and download it BUT DO NOT install this until you have removed the OLD driver and any CACHED driver data per ZWO's recent advice.
