ASI 2600 MC Pro 2025 version failing over USB 3.0

Hello, I have recently bought the 2025 upgraded version of 2600 MC Pro. In the first days it was running fine when using USB 3.0 connection and I was getting ₆ fps. The suddenly it started to not be recognized anymore via USB 3.0. Now I can use it only on USB 2.0 connection.
What is the solution for this problem ?

I have been fighting disconnect issues with my new 2600 mc pro (2025) for the last 3 weeks. I live inTucson so Starizona has been helping me diagnose the issue. I have concluded that ZWO has an issue with the USB hub in the new (2025) cameras (OSC and mono). Starizona gave me a replacement and the same thing is happening. The USB ports are intermittent and accessories like the EAF and guide cameras continue to disconnect. I think the only go-round until ZWO first acknowledges and then fixes this problem is to add a USB hub at the Air and connect the EAF and guide camera (if not already connected) tot he hub for reliable connections.

I have the same problem.

My ASI2600MC Pro, which is about 9 months old, repeatedly has problems transferring the data from an exposure to the ASIAIR Plus via USB 3.0. I have also tried USB 2.0, but unfortunately this did not solve the problem either.

The data transfer simply hangs, and I have to stop the imaging sequence and restart it. After another one or two exposures, the same problem occurs again.

The power supply is stable and more than sufficient, and replacing the USB cable did not solve the problem either.

Strangely, the problem usually occurs while setting up an imaging session. Only after several restarts, switching between different USB connections, and completely restarting the ASIAIR (and therefore also the camera) does the problem eventually disappear. Once it is working, I can then image for several hours without any further connection dropouts.

However, getting it to work in the first place can be a very frustrating and nerve-racking process.

There seem to be quite a few similar reports and experiences online. Could the problem possibly be related to the camera's internal USB controller or USB interface?

Is there perhaps a firmware update available for the camera, or is there a repair/service solution for this issue?

Any advice or suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

I live here in Tucson and bought the camera from Starizona. I have been working with them to diagnose the problem. I got a replacement 2600 from them and it had the same problem. They were finally able to replicate the issue with my first camera and will be contacting ZWO Astro to get them involved.

Initially, I filed a support email via the ZWO Astro web site and have been working with a tech in China. I have done everything they asked me to do, sent Bug Reports via the ASI Air to them and they currently are trying to set up a similar scenario with their own equipment to see if they can replicate the problem. The folks at Starizona claim they have gotten multiple reports from their customers who have the same problem. Clearly, ZWO has an issue with these (2025) cameras. I have my scope mounted on an AM5n mount and I have an EAF Pro as well. So, my workaround is to not use the 2600 USB hub, use bluetooth to connect to the mount and Air and it all works. I was also thinking of using a separate USB hub and connect it to the Air and then plug everything else into it.

My suggestion is to send the same email you just sent me to the ZWO tech I am dealing with. The more people who complain the better. I will post her email address below. Her name is Mei and as mentioned she is with ZWO in China.

UPDATE
ZWO Tech support in China has agreed to have Starizona return my first 2600mc-P25 camera to them for testing. Starizona sent me an email that it will go out today (Sept 2). Hopefully, they can duplicate the issue with the USB hub and develop a solution. Thankfully, Starizona was able to duplicate the problem so we all are closer to permanent solution as opposed top workarounds like extra usb hubs, bluetooth EAF connections, etc.
