Corsair Glad to see a fellow southern-hemispherer.
Also - I fully expect to see changes in error values when just tapping refresh a few times (10 seconds apart) after making adjustments purely due to physics. Both in standard and all sky polar alignment.
Absolutely fair to compare it against the behavior in standard polar alignment. For "All Sky", refreshing every couple of seconds apart without touching the mount would show big differences for me, which does not happen when I've been able to do "regular" PA (which I can only do when I'm on a trip somewhere with an open view South). The initial assessment that I get in All-Sky seems to be somewhat reasonable, so I don't think they have the math all wrong, but every refresh adds error that snowballs very quickly into unusable measurements. This does not happen in regular PA.
In fact, regular PA is how I've used the ASIAIR until now, so only on trips where I can see the Southern sky. From my apartment, which is where I'm 90% of the time, I only have limited view W and NW, and thus that drove me to start using NINA at home.
I'd like to clarify that I've not tested v3.0 yet not out of disinterest or pessimism, but because we are currently suffering from a severe case of "lots of clouds". I think there's some hope for clear skies this weekend, so maybe I'll have an opportunity to test this myself as well.
At any rate, the fact that you are willing to test this is greatly appreciated.
