Dear ZWO team!
I've been using an ASI mount for just a few weeks and, one thing immediately became an issue for me. I observe from my backyard. ASI mounts seem to be relatively quiet, but you can still hear them, and it is especially noticeable at night. In a nutshell, I cannot use Go-To function because it will wake my neighbours up, and they aren't going to be happy about it.
If there was a way to limit the Go-To slewing speed, this problem would go away.
In ASIStudio you can add custom slewing seed. I determined that 240x..300x is quiet while also quick enough for Go-To slewing. If only I was able to set this limit in the SkyAtlas or ASIAIR app, my observing would be very comfortable not just for me but also for my neighbours.
It would also be great to be able to add custom slewing speed in the SkyAtlas or ASIAIR app (much like I can do it in ASIStudio). After all, Go-To is not necessary when you can scroll through the star map and find your object there.
Thanks for considering this!
