big problem with win 8 x64 and drivers

Dear all,

i've big problems with a 120mm and windows8 64 bit. I install the drivers then i connect the camera by usb and the computer says "unknown device". no way to install the drivers!

please help!

Problems here too.

Using ASI 120 MM, latest drivers installed, no images from the camera, even using the plain ASI viewer or Sharpcap. Firecapture freezes repeatedly.

My system is a Macbook pro, and I use Windows 8 (32 bits) in a virtual machine with Parallels.

I tested the camera in a friend's PC running Win 7, installed FC and everything goes fine.

Tried multiple unistall and reinstall, even disabling Win 8 security features (as suggested in your site).

Any thoughts?

Virtual machines won't work with the ASI camera.
