Peltier Cooling Mod - or how to open the ASI's housing

Hi there,

I am using ASI for some weeks now doing some nice stuff. I am really getting into DSI, some first results can be found here: http://astrobin.com/users/robbeh

Now that it is going to get warmer (spring is here, finally) I want to see, what can be done regarding some little peltier cooling mod. I am aware of the warranty void it will be bringing, but I wonder how the case of the ASI could be opened without any damage. I have seen it being opened elsewhere http://www.astronomy.com.cn/bbs/thread-242988-1-1.html but could not figure out, how it was done. Just unscrewing the two parts seems the way, but I didn't manage without pure power.

So, anyone has a suggestion?

you can unsrew off the M42 cover

and there are 4 screws.

there are no warranty if you open it
