Cannot remote control camera via Digi AnywhereUSB

Hi,

I just purchased an ASI120MC. My dome and control rooms are very far apart; therefore, I use a Digi AnywhereUSB device to control all of my USB and serial devices. My control room PC connects to the Digi device via TCP-IP. This works great for my telescope (Nexstar), focuser, dome motor, Orion Starshoot Autoguide camera, etc. However, it will not work with my ASI120MC - I get a "device cannot start" error in Device Manager (Windows 7 Pro x64). When I take the camera downstairs to my control room and plug it in directly, no problem, but it will not work remotely.

Has anyone else experienced this? Is there a way around it as running a USB cable from the dome to the control room is not an option.

If there is not a way around this, I fear the ASI120MC will not be very useful for observatory use.

I am not familar with AnywhereUSB.

but you metioned that you use Windows 7 Pro x64

did you disable the driver signature enhancement?

Yes, I've done that. The driver installed OK. Like I said, when plugged in directly, the camera operates fine. When plugged into the Digi device, I get a "driver cannot start" error. Not being able to work through the Digi device like the rest of my devices basically renders the camera useless for me.
