ASI 185MC blurry image in firecapture timelapse

When I'm capturing a time lapse in fire capture the sky or stars looks rather blurred.

Why is this do I need a different lens than the standard one supplied?

Ive tried changing many of the settings in fire capture but get no difference in the quality

its set at 30 fps at the highest resolution and auto exposure with a gain between 50 -100 percent and gamma 50 percent.

I'm no expert at this but trying to learn any help would be much appreciated as I see other peoples time lapse with similar asi cameras have great results.

Yes, you have normal live view from the camera.

I got an email from zwo saying this

Hi Richard

you need to adjust the focuser of the lens

to make sure it reach focus

you can do it at daytime

What does this mean?

Exactly what it says - if you use a lens or telescope you have to focus the image. It won't be in focus on its own.

I'm using the all sky camera so to focus that manually is there a special way?

I see a screw on the side or is it another way.

I don't see anything in the pdf document

It's a CMOS camera to be exactly.

Post a pic of that lens/camera. Usually small C/CS lenses have rotating body part or knob that is used to set focus.

Thats a set screw. Loosen it. Then you can twist the upper part of the lens to set the focus. Do it during the daytime while pointing the camera at a distant tree or telephone pole until you get a sharp image.

Does anyone have any knowledge on FUJINON Fish-eye vari-focal lenses?

Id like to buy another lens for time lapse and read they are good but there as so many different sizes.
