Newbie needing help

I am new to astro photography and am in desperate need of some help.

I have an ASI120MC and am using Fire Capture and Registax.

Are there any easy to understand tutorials out there?

I have found a couple of video tutorials but they suddenly get too technical.

I have set my camera up with a telephoto lens for testing purposes but all of my attempts at pictures seem to have lots of small squares on them

Me too. I need suggestions/tutorial/advice on effective use of my newly purchased ASI120MC.

Broken link. If you used the lens at daytime with some artificial light then horizontal "pulses" can show up. They won't be there when doing normal imaging.
