The 968 x 608 resolution should be the 2 x 2 binning. However, for guiding I'd think that you'd only want to use binning if you were using an OAG on a long focus scope (like an SCT).
A 2 x 2 bin would produce an effective pixel size of over 11um which would undersample the stars on many guidescopes.
