This is a single 5 second shot with moon light. I captured a hundred but dss when stacking, doesn't seem to want to align correctly. This frame is auto stretched to show the detail

Wow, just to think what it can be if stacked!
I run into similar issues with DSS too, very annoying.
That's why other applications are worth the expense ;)
Try using the latest Autostakkert beta - http://www.astrokraai.nl/software/latest.php - it's pretty good at deep-sky stacking.
For DS imaging I use Nebulosity. The alignment is more reliable as you mark the same star on every frame - no guessing that may go wrong. Plus it has a lot of processing features (I don't even use Pixinsight or Photoshop at all).
Hi all. I tried Maxim DL. I bought it a while ago but rarely used it because i could never load calib files correctly. I don't know how to take a dark in sharpcap. So here goes. In MaximDL and pixinsight LE (i kinda lame i know). It about 163 frames at 5 seconds each.
