Focus problem with ASI120MC and Televue 2x barlow

Scope: Orion 127mm Mak-Cass f/12.1

camera: ASI120MC

barlow: televue 2x

Imaging with the camera only - works great. I cannot achieve focus with the 2x barlow.

Do I need to purchase a shorter barlow..... or ( if possible ) do I need to modify the focus mechanism?

Yes. Focus with Eyepiece + 2x barlow is good. The Televue barlow may be too long. I have ordered a Celestron 2x X-cel barlow (shorter). I will post if it works. Thanks for the reply.

I can reach focus with my Tele Vue PowerMate 2.5x, which is quite long, and my ASI224MC in my NexStar 8SE. Takes quite a few turns to the right of the focusing knob though. Can you reach focus with your barlow and eyepiece without using the star diagonal, assuming you don't use that when imaging?
