Image Scale

The ASI-174MM has a 1920x1612 sensor with 5.86um pixels. If I use ROI and only use 640x480 pixels, will the image scale increase similar to use of a camera with a smaller sensor? I have noticed a big difference in image scale between my camera with a 640x480 sensor and was wondering if ROI would solve this issue.

Image scale doesn't change when you use true ROI as you just cut out part of the frame. Smaller subframe just saves HDD space and allows faster framerate. Image scale is dictated by pixel size and that doesn't change (only binning changes that).
