ASI178 mmC Oacapture on MAC

hello,

I have a ASI178mmC that runs fine with FireCapture. I have tried to use Oacapture on MAC without success. After camera scan window camera says asiError. I have tried to apply tricks for ASI174, but it does not work.

Is somebody has some experience on the matter?

Hi Sam,

I have updated it and now it can connect. fine, but after 10 seconds the preview stop working, I have tried to change USB traffic, no success. Any idea?

how about set the exposure to 50ms and let the camera run at 20fps

there is low performance problem with Mac, we will try to improve that

Which Mac are you using? I have a similar issue, camera loses connection in OaCapture or FireCspture on Macbook Air Mid 2012. Probably issue with certain USB 3 chipsets...
