Camera stopped working

HI!

I did manage to install and have my ASI120MM running on Windows 10 for a while. But when I restarted the computer it stopped seeing the camera completely. I ended erasing both firecapture 2.4 and all the drivers. I reloading everything, latest version from the website, except for SDK 2.0 since I only found SDK 1.1.

I changed my USB cable just to make sure, rebooted the computer...still no connect. I tried with sharpcap...no connect.

THe device manager does show Something when I plug and deplug the camera but Firecapture keeps saying it sees no camera.

What kills me is that the camera works well on another computer I have on windows 10 also. Unfortunately that computer is only powerfull enough to run tests, so I really want the first one to work. Could there be a conflict with another application? What could the problem be?

some times, anti-virus software will prevent driver install of the camera

turn them off before install the driver

you can see the camera listed under device manager if you installed the driver properly

Thanks for the reply but I check and I can see the ZWO ASI 120 MM Under the device manager,

It would appear then that the drivers were installed ok.

Could it be a probleme with firecapture 2.4 instead?

But again, sharpcap does not work either.

What could the problem be?

I have had this issue when trying to use long cables. There was not enough voltage. Try using a short cable and if you are try a new short cable
