120MC ASCOM Raw8 problem

I'm using my USB 2.0 120MC to guide with Maxim DL 6. I cannot seem to get the ASCOM driver to "stick" my Raw8 choice for the Image Type in the properties. It keeps defaulting back to Raw16. As long as I remember to set it, guiding works, but I'm trying to automate my observatory.

Is this a bug or feature?

Don't press "Set", you only need to press Ok to make it effective.

Is there a way to specify Raw8 from the "command line?" My problem is that I need Maxim to connect to the ZWO ASI 120 MC for guiding without having to open the dialog box at the start of every session.

In other words, how do set Raw8 as the default start mode.

ASCOM should remember the setting

once you set it to RAW8 and it will be RAW8 when you open it next time
