I have the USB speed set to lowest and I have halved the resolution to help the bandwidth but the camera capture still stops after several minutes and shows 0.0fps. What is happening?
I am using a laptop with Windows 7 Pro 32bit. I have a short USB 3.0 cable plugged into a USB2.0 port. I can connect to the camera with both sharpcap and firecapture. Firecapture, even with debayer checkbox on, only shows black and white. So I am using Sharpcap right now. I just updated the version today.
When I start it begins in native resolution. I put it to 652x488 to help with bandwidth. I also slide the USB speed down to 40 to help it.
I want to do a time lapse with the 120degree lens. So I pick for speed 1/15 or 1 frame ever 15 seconds. I select AUTO for exposure because it is still day light right now and I want it to run for several hours.
When I go out to check on its progress, it is always showing 0.0 fps. Putting my hand in front of the camera does not ever show my hand. So I know the camera has frozen. The time has been less than 30 minutes since I started it. So now I have re-started the camera for the third time and came to post this.
This problem has existed since I bought the camera. I have tried it on two laptops. One a fast gaming laptop that I can play any game with and the other an older laptop. Both have the same issue. Is it the camera or software?
I need help.
